An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Hastings is looking for a compassionate ELSA to join their pastoral team this January. You’ll provide emotional literacy support, helping children understand and manage their feelings so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Your Role:

• Provide 1:1 and group sessions developing emotional literacy and resilience.

• Support pupils with confidence, relationships, and self-regulation.

• Liaise with SENCos, parents, and teachers to create consistent support plans.

• Be a calm, trusted presence that pupils can rely on.

You Bring:

• ELSA training (or willingness to train).

• A nurturing, empathetic nature and a child-centred mindset.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or pastoral capacity.
