Are you a passionate, resilient and student-focused teacher looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in the Crawley area, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

This nurturing and forward-thinking setting provides personalised learning, small class sizes and a therapeutic approach to education. Staff work collaboratively with therapists and behaviour specialists to create a safe, structured and emotionally supportive environment where pupils can re-engage with learning and build confidence.

The Role:

  • Deliver creative and differentiated lessons to pupils with SEMH needs

  • Build strong, trusting relationships that support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to implement EHCP targets

  • Maintain high expectations while adapting your approach to individual learners

  • Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience working in SEMH or specialist settings (or a strong interest in the sector)

  • Resilience, empathy and a calm, consistent approach

  • Ability to tailor lessons and manage behaviour effectively

What’s on Offer:

  • MPS/UPS pay rates

  • Supportive leadership team and specialist training opportunities

  • Opportunity to move into a permanent role

  • A rewarding environment where you can truly make a difference
