Learning Support Assistant – Littlehampton – SEMH Secondary School

Location: Littlehampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:20pm (Tuesdays until 5:00pm)
Pay: £94.71 per day
Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm via Pink Tile Education

Your Role:

  • Supporting secondary-aged boys with SEMH needs in class, helping them to access learning and manage behaviour

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or instability

  • Supporting pupils in developing their emotional literacy, social skills, and resilience

  • Helping to maintain a structured, consistent classroom environment

  • Supporting with enrichment and therapeutic activities that boost confidence and engagement

SEND Teaching Assistant – Worthing (Primary School – Complex Needs)

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Worthing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £89 per day
Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm via Pink Tile Education

Would you describe yourself as resilient, caring, and adaptable — someone who goes above and beyond to connect with others?

This nurturing SEND primary school in Worthing supports children with a range of needs including non-verbal communication, mobility challenges, sensory needs, and personal care requirements. You’ll join a warm and committed team who take great pride in creating a safe, happy, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Your Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, tailoring activities to meet their individual needs

  • Assisting with personal care, including toileting and feeding

  • Helping children with physical or mobility challenges throughout the school day

  • Encouraging communication through visual aids, Makaton, or sensory tools

  • Contributing to a positive, nurturing classroom environment

We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with genuine compassion and patience

  • Ideally, experience (professional or personal) supporting someone with complex or medical needs

  • An understanding of how to communicate non-verbally

  • Willingness to assist with personal care and behaviour support
