Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Pay Rate: £84 per day

Contract: Temporary, Full Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a large secondary school in Worthing, West Sussex. The ideal candidate will support students in achieving their full potential by providing tailored assistance in both classroom and one-on-one settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with their educational and personal development.
• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement.
• Work with small groups or individual students to provide focused support.
• Assist with planning and implementing educational activities tailored to the needs of the students.

Requirements:

• Must have a DBS on the update service and be able to provide suitable references.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
