About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan and prepare lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities, fostering a love of Geography in every student.
- Use assessment and feedback effectively to support students’ progress and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of educators to enhance the department’s success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is advantageous but not essential. Applications from experienced UQTs (Unqualified Teachers) are welcome.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience teaching Geography in a school setting.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
- DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one).
- Attitude: A genuine enthusiasm for Geography and a desire to help students succeed.
