About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in supporting students in their learning journey, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young learners, helping them achieve their full potential academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and active participation in school life.
  • Help create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and support student progress, sharing feedback with the teaching team.

Requirements:

  • A DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young people.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
