Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Hours: 08:30 to 15:30, full time

Do you have a passion for helping children achieve their best in education? We are seeking a caring and motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team at a primary school in Billingshurst. In this role, you will be working alongside teachers, supporting children’s learning and personal growth in a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to enhance their learning.
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Support children in their personal, social, and emotional development.

Essential Experience/Attributes:

Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
Experience supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
A DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to the varying needs of children in the classroom.
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
