Design Technology Teacher – Large Secondary School, Chichester

We are looking for a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Chichester. This full-time, long-term position starts in October 2024 and will run until July 2025. The successful candidate will inspire students with hands-on and theoretical knowledge, fostering creativity and technical skills in a well-resourced environment.

About the Role:

• Position: Design Technology Teacher (specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or similar are welcomed).
• Start Date: October 2024.
• Contract: Full-time, long-term role until July 2025.
• Salary: £MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
• Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons, manage practical sessions safely, assess student progress, and contribute to departmental activities and development.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.
• Current safeguarding training.
• Passion for Design Technology and the ability to engage students in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.
