English Intervention Specialist Assistant – Full-Time – Crawley

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Intervention Specialist Assistant to join a client secondary school in Crawley. This is a full-time position starting in October 2024, offering a competitive pay rate of £84 to £90 per day, depending on experience.

Role Overview: As an English Intervention Specialist Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students who require additional help in English. You will work closely with the school’s teaching staff to identify students in need of extra support, delivering targeted intervention sessions either one-to-one or in small groups. Your aim will be to help students build confidence and improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills, ultimately enhancing their overall performance.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid DBS on the update service
• Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential
• Experience working with young people, particularly in a support role, is highly desirable
• A passion for English and helping students succeed
