What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we welcome applications from unqualified teachers with relevant experience.
• Experience:
  • Strong background in teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Skills and Enthusiasm:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Design Technology, aligned with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour, ensuring all students can thrive and achieve their potential.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Design Technology department.
