Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for our Bank team in the Brighton area. The pupil community is diverse & spans KS1 & KS4. You will support schools in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities. 

This is a role for those that have busy lifestyles or already work or study part-time & are looking for the odd day or to fill in the spare days.

£72 per day minimum (£11.07 per hour)

Requirements

  • Experience working with children & young people with behaviour management
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
  • Confident working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit
  • Experience working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit (desired)

Responsibilities

  • Support class teacher
  • Support the pupils
  • Understand individual needs & adapt approach
