Are you a passionate and innovative English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a forward-thinking secondary school? Our client, a vibrant and progressive school in Brighton, is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic English Department from September 2024 for approximately one year.

The Role

As an English Teacher at this school, you will:

• Teach English up to GCSE level: Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing students for their GCSE examinations.
• Inspire and motivate students: Use your enthusiasm and expertise to spark curiosity and a deeper understanding of literature, language, and writing.
• Collaborate with colleagues: Work within a supportive and forward-thinking English Department, sharing best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
• Utilize modern resources: Leverage cutting-edge classroom technology and digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Commit to professional development: Participate in ongoing CPD opportunities to stay at the forefront of educational advancements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A current DBS on the update service
• A strong passion for English education and a commitment to student success
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
