Responsibilities:

• Planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality English lessons that engage and inspire students across various year groups and abilities.
• Fostering a love for literature and language through creative and stimulating teaching methods.
• Supporting students in developing their literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in written and verbal communication.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialism in English Language and Literature.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A full Enhanced DBS check.
