Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher with a strong sports focus to join our passionate team from September 2024. As a PE Teacher at our school, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5. This full-time role offers the chance to contribute to a vibrant sports program and make a positive impact on the physical well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons with a strong focus on sports development and physical fitness, catering to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.
  • Organize and facilitate a variety of sports activities and extracurricular programs to enhance students’ skills and promote active lifestyles.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel in sports and physical activities.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their personal best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize inter-school sports competitions, tournaments, and community outreach events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service.
  • Up to date safeguarding training.
  • Strong background in sports education with a passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
