A secondary school in Wadhurst is seeking an Unqualified English Teacher to join their team. No formal teaching experience is required—just a strong knowledge of English language and literature and a desire to inspire young learners.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons, covering language, literature, and writing skills
• Support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical abilities
• Assist with classroom behaviour management
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners
• Opportunity to progress into long-term or permanent teaching roles

Requirements:

• Specialism in English (degree or strong subject knowledge)
• Enthusiasm for education and working with young people
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Teaching experience is desirable but not essential
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
