A secondary school in Eastbourne is seeking an Unqualified STEM Teacher to join their team. No formal teaching experience is required—just a strong knowledge of a STEM subject and a desire to inspire young learners.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths)
  • Support students in developing their understanding and enthusiasm for STEM
  • Assist with classroom behaviour management
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners
  • Opportunity to progress into long-term or permanent teaching roles

Requirements:

  • Specialism in a STEM subject (degree or industry experience)
  • Enthusiasm for education and working with young people
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Teaching experience is desirable but not essential
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
