Position: Assistant Headteacher
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Type: Temporary, Part-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join our leadership team as an Assistant Headteacher on a part-time basis. This role involves working closely with school leaders and educational experts to shape the future vision of the school, focusing on learning, teaching, and curriculum development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire staff and students, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including staff, parents, pupils, and the community.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships within the school community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and ensure all students receive an excellent education.

Requirements:

  • Inspirational leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and challenge.
  • Passion for children’s learning and welfare, putting them first in all decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Commitment to developing and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Experience or willingness to train in SENCo and DSL roles is desirable.
