Maths Teacher KS3/ KS4

Are you passionate about helping young people develop confidence and skills in Maths? A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hailsham is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team, delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students. This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Whether you hold QTS or have a strong academic background in Maths with relevant teaching or coaching experience, we welcome your application. Strong behaviour management skills are essential to ensure a positive and focused classroom environment.

Day to day:

• Teaching Maths to KS3 & KS4 students
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support and challenge learners
• Supporting student progress and building confidence in numeracy
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning atmosphere

About you:

• QTS is preferred, though applicants with a strong academic background in Maths and experience teaching or coaching secondary school students are encouraged to apply
• Confident in delivering Maths lessons and supporting student achievement
• Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people
