Do you have a passion for supporting students with additional needs? A secondary school in Worthing is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students who require extra help in their learning. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, assisting with classwork, managing sensory or behavioural challenges, and promoting confidence and independence. You’ll be joining a dedicated SEND department that values teamwork and professional growth.
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✔ At least 2 months of experience working with children or young people
✔ A DBS on the Update Service
✔ Understanding of SEN, autism, ADHD, or SEMH (desirable)
✔ A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
