Location: Horsham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: £102.68 per day (temp through Pink Tile); £22,200 – £23,500 per annum once permanent (dependent on experience)

We are seeking passionate and resilient Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive and welcoming SEMH school in Horsham. This school caters to students aged 5-18 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional learning needs.
Supportive Environment: A school that prioritises the well-being of its students and staff.
Mental Health Focus: After passing the probation period, you will receive one on-call day off per week while retaining a full five-day salary. This is to support staff mental well-being.
Career Progression: Temp to perm structure – after 12 working weeks, you will transition to a permanent role.
On-Site Therapy: Staff have access to an on-site therapist for support with challenges inside and outside of work.

Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, including verbal abuse and physical incidents
Willingness to use positive behaviour management strategies and engage in de-escalation techniques, including physical intervention when required
A candidate who can build trusting relationships with students and help them develop essential life and learning skills
First 12 weeks: You will typically finish at 3:30 PM, but you are paid until 4:30 PM and may occasionally be asked to stay.
After 3-month probation: You will be assigned an on-call day off once a week, while maintaining a full-time salary. You may be asked to come in occasionally.
Salary: £102.68 per day while temping through Pink Tile; £22,200 – £23,500 per annum once permanent (discussed at the interview stage based on experience).
