Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s life? Our charming primary school in Horsham is on the lookout for a Part-Time Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with complex needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with SEN children preferred
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• A caring and patient nature
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex needs, helping them access the curriculum and engage with their peers
• Assist with personal care and mobility as needed
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt support as necessary
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
