1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Chichester
Start: Immediate | Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Pay: £89 per day
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in a lovely primary school in Chichester. This full-time role is to start immediately.
You will be working one-to-one with a pupil who has a rare skin condition. The child is very independent in managing their needs, but due to the nature of the condition, there can be occasional bleeding, so it is important that you are not squeamish and are comfortable around blood. Your support will be key in helping the child access the full school day safely and confidently.
Experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential.
Kind, calm, and resilient nature.
Able to respond confidently and sensitively to medical needs.
Willingness to undergo relevant training if needed.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
