Are you confident with the Maths curriculum and passionate about helping young people thrive in the subject?
We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Crawley to recruit a Maths Specialist Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role starting in September.
In this role, you’ll support and teach small groups of students across KS4 and KS5, helping them to build confidence and make progress towards their GCSE and A-Level goals. You’ll work closely with the Maths department to deliver targeted intervention and enrichment, and will play a key role in raising attainment in the subject.
Have a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum up to A-Level
Be confident delivering small group sessions and occasional whole-class cover
Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience in a secondary school setting
Be proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting students’ learning
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths specialist who enjoys working outside of a traditional teaching role but still wants to make a meaningful impact.
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £110–£115 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
