🌟 SEN Primary Teacher – Complex Needs | Crawley | September Start 🌟

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Primary Teacher to join a highly specialist SEND school in Crawley, supporting pupils with complex and profound learning needs. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.

About the School:

This is a nurturing and well-resourced special school that caters for children with a wide range of complex needs, including:

  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Sensory impairments and medical needs

The school provides a highly personalised curriculum, therapeutic support, and a strong emphasis on communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

The Role:

  • Position: SEN Primary Teacher
  • Location: Crawley, West Sussex
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

You will be responsible for delivering a creative, multi-sensory curriculum tailored to the individual needs of your pupils. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children with complex SEND, ideally in a special school setting
  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Confidence in using alternative communication methods (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC) is a plus
