Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm (5:00pm finish on Mondays)
Pay: £127 per day (via agency), temp-to-perm – 12 working weeks
Once perm salary: £26,270

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a difference? Do you have a sporty background or an active interest in sports? We are working with a fantastic all-boys SEMH school, located between Horsham and Billingshurst, who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their upper primary provision. They are ideally looking for someone who can encourage and assist with physical activities.
The school supports boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional learning needs. They are looking for a positive role model – someone who can build strong relationships, encourage participation, and support pupils both emotionally and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent support in and out of class to students aged 9–13.
Use sport and physical activity as a tool for engagement.
Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and learning needs.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement strategies that meet each child’s needs.
Ideal Candidate:
Sporty, active, or with experience coaching/mentoring young people.
Calm, patient, and positive in the face of challenges.
Experience with SEMH or additional needs.
Committed to a long-term role with the opportunity to go permanent.
