Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Lancing)

🕐 Full Time | Term Time Only | Start: September 2025
💰 Pay: £89 per day

We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Lancing that is looking to appoint a committed and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September 2025.

This is a full-time, long-term role, working across the school and within the dedicated Inclusion Unit, supporting students with a range of additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support across a range of subjects

• Work closely with the school’s Inclusion and SEND team

• Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

• Promote pupil independence, engagement, and progress

• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Requirements:

• A valid DBS on the update service (mandatory)

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• Experience supporting young people (school, youth work, tutoring or similar)

• A calm, resilient, and flexible approach
