SEMH Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist boys’ SEMH provision in Havant. This is a full-time, long-term position that requires energy, commitment, and a strong understanding of how to support students with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

The school supports KS3 and KS4 students who are not thriving in mainstream education. You will play a key role in helping students re-engage with learning and build the tools they need to succeed.

The right person will:

• Have experience supporting young people with SEMH or behavioural needs

• Be confident working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment

• Be committed to building positive relationships and helping young people regulate emotions

Essential requirements:

• DBS on the update service

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• Full-time availability
