Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Hours: 8:45am – 3:15pm
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Role Type: Part-Time, SEN Support (Reception Class)

A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Horsham is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with additional needs. This is a 2-day-a-week role (Tuesday and Thursday), ideal for someone passionate about early years and SEN support.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs
  • Supporting emotional regulation, communication, and engagement in learning
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (especially in EYFS) is desirable
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
