The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons to secondary students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities such as school concerts, ensembles, and productions.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Recent experience teaching music at secondary level.
A genuine passion for inspiring young people through music.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
