 Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools – Chichester

Are you confident, resilient, and passionate about working with young people? Secondary schools in the Chichester area are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to step into classrooms and support learning when teachers are absent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff looking for a new challenge. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in a variety of subjects

• Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere

• Supporting students in their learning and encouraging participation

• Reporting back to teaching staff on progress and any issues

This role gives you the chance to build strong classroom management skills, develop your confidence in front of groups, and gain invaluable experience for future teacher training applications.

What you need to apply:

• A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children or young people (in schools, tutoring, sports coaching, or youth settings)

• A DBS registered on the Update Service

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt in different classroom environments

Pay: from £110 per day, paid weekly.
