Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping every learner reach their full potential?
We’re seeking a Complex Needs Assistant to join our friendly team in Brighton as soon as possible (ASAP start).
You’ll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Your day-to-day work may include:
Supporting children with communication, social, emotional, or physical needs
Adapting activities and resources to ensure accessibility
Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
We’re looking for someone who is:
Patient, empathetic, and positive in their approach
Passionate about inclusive education and supporting SEND pupils
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Experienced in a school or care setting (desirable, but training will be provided for the right person)
A welcoming and supportive school community
