Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and helping students discover the joy of Maths? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to join a welcoming secondary school in Brighton as an Unqualified Maths Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a teaching career or looking to gain classroom experience in a supportive, forward-thinking school environment.
You’ll be delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the guidance of experienced teachers, using creative approaches to bring learning to life and build pupils’ confidence and understanding.
Deliver and support engaging Maths lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence
Encourage positive behaviour, participation and progress among pupils
Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet different learning needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high expectations of all learners
We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about Maths and enthusiastic about working with young people
Confident, proactive and adaptable in the classroom
Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff
Committed to supporting every learner to achieve their best
In possession of (or willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
