We’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to work with children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a friendly, supportive school setting in the Woodingdean area.
Trial days are being arranged now — a great chance to see if this is the right fit for you (and you’re the right fit for them!).
What we’re looking for:
***Someone caring, patient, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
***Experience supporting individuals with SLD, autism, or complex needs — whether in children’s services, adult care, education, or healthcare.
***Ability to communicate clearly, follow support plans, and help learners achieve their personal goals.
***A team player who can stay calm under pressure and “hit the ground running.”
Transferable experience includes:
*Adult or child care support (residential, day centre, or community)
*Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant roles
*SEN/SEMH or SLD classroom support
*Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker experience
*Youth work or social care background
