Pink Tile Education are proud to be supporting a secondary school in Crawley who are seeking a dedicated and proactive Support Worker / Teaching Assistant to provide in-class and practical support for a Science Teacher.
This is a unique and rewarding role where you’ll be making a real difference every single day — helping to ensure lessons run smoothly, safely, and inclusively.
You’ll work closely with the Science Teacher to provide practical and administrative support, allowing lessons to be delivered safely and effectively.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Practical Lesson Support: Preparing and packing away science equipment and materials before and after lessons.
Classroom Assistance: Providing real-time, on-the-spot help to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
Safety and Emergency Response: Being ready to assist immediately with any issues during practical activities.
Administrative Help: Supporting with resources such as worksheets, presentations, and planning materials.
This is a term-time only role with hours from 08:30–15:30, perfect for someone who enjoys a busy, hands-on school environment.
