💰 Pay: £100-£110 per day (inclusive of 12.07% PAYE holiday)

We’re looking for a caring and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming autism specialist school in the Burgess Hill area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with autism and additional learning needs in a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment.
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and associated SEN needs
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning and communication strategies
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and social development
Helping to create a calm, consistent, and engaging learning environment
Promoting independence and positive behaviour through encouragement and clear routines
Experience working with children or young people with autism (essential)
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to drive or can get to Brighton Railway Station for transport to the school
A patient, proactive and empathetic approach
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting neurodiverse learners
