About the Role

Do you have the passion and resilience to support children with additional needs on a one-to-one basis? We are looking for a dedicated Learning & Pastoral Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil who requires tailored academic and emotional support in a specialist SEMH environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for learning and emotional regulation, guided by EHCP targets.
• Build a strong, trusting relationship that promotes engagement and positive behaviour.
• Use trauma-informed and restorative approaches to create a safe, calm environment.
• Support transitions, unstructured times, and enrichment activities to ensure wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams for consistent support.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, or Autism.
• Resilience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for inclusion and helping every child succeed.
