About the Role

Do you have the resilience, energy, and passion to make a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where relationships, regulation, and restorative practice are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll play a key role in helping students develop positive behaviours, emotional resilience, and the confidence to succeed in learning and life.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and engagement.
  • Implement behaviour strategies and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create calm, safe learning environments.
  • Support pupils during challenging moments using trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
  • Promote positive routines and social skills through 1:1 and small group work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural challenges.
  • Resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion and a belief in every child’s potential.

Why Join Us?

  • Specialist training and CPD opportunities in trauma-informed practice and behaviour support.
  • A chance to make a genuine impact every day in a role that offers purpose and fulfilment.
