Day Rate: £127.50 per day (9am–5pm)
We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Lead Behaviour and Inclusion Lead to join an Alternative Provision school in Washington, West Sussex. This long-term role involves supporting students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a unique environment that integrates animal-assisted and outdoor learning.
As the Behaviour and Inclusion Lead, you will take a proactive role in promoting positive behaviour strategies, emotional regulation, and inclusion across the school. You’ll work closely with the leadership and pastoral team to ensure every pupil receives the tailored support they need to thrive both socially and academically.
• Strong experience supporting students with SEMH or complex needs (or willingness to learn)
• Confident managing behaviour in a calm, therapeutic, and child-centred way
• Comfortable working in an environment that includes animal-assisted learning
• Excellent communication, leadership and de-escalation skills
• A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach
• Long-term, full-time position (Monday–Friday)
• Competitive daily rate of £127.50 per day
