Day Rate: £102 per day
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist SEMH school in Horsham. This is a long-term, full-time role working with students who have social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them to re-engage with learning and develop positive relationships in a nurturing and structured environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils both one-to-one and in small groups, supporting their academic progress, emotional regulation, and personal development. You’ll collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to create a calm, supportive and inclusive learning space where every student can thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or SEND needs (or willingness to learn)
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence working with behaviour management strategies
• A genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential
