Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in Hailsham in recruiting a passionate and skilled Computing Teacher for a full-time, long-term position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who can inspire students and deliver high-quality computing education across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a broad range of computing topics, including programming, computer systems, and digital literacy, and be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective computing lessons to secondary students
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives
Support students’ learning, development, and progress
Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities where appropriate
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support school initiatives
Essential Criteria:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in computing and ICT
Experience teaching secondary students, ideally across multiple key stages
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for inspiring young learners
Desirable:
Experience with GCSE Computer Science and/or BTEC IT courses
Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools
