About the Role

Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEND school in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils develop positive behaviour strategies and thrive in a nurturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
Implement positive behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to create personalised support plans
Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and social skills
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (school or care setting)
Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional support
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach
A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
