About the Role

Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEND school in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils develop positive behaviour strategies and thrive in a nurturing environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to create personalised support plans
  • Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and social skills
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (school or care setting)
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional support
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach
  • A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
