About the Role

Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school with a specialist SEN unit. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require tailored support to thrive academically and socially.


What You’ll Do

  • Teach and support pupils within the SEN unit and mainstream classes
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND, ideally in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
