About the Role

Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school with a specialist SEN unit. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require tailored support to thrive academically and socially.

What You’ll Do

Teach and support pupils within the SEN unit and mainstream classes
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with pupils with SEND, ideally in a primary setting
Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and other additional needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
