We are recruiting for a confident, resilient and compassionate English Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in the Horsham area. This long-term position involves delivering engaging and accessible English lessons while supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those who present with challenging behaviours, within a structured, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and build confidence both academically and personally. You will work closely with the teaching and pastoral teams, using trauma-informed approaches and creating a calm, consistent and supportive classroom environment tailored to individual needs.
