A large, modern primary school in Bexhill – known for its highly structured behaviour systems and dedicated inclusion team – is seeking a resilient and proactive SEND TA to support pupils with SEMH across KS2.
The school benefits from a full-time behaviour lead, a pastoral room equipped with sensory tools, and well-developed intervention programmes. The role is varied: you will support individual pupils, run small nurture groups, and work alongside class teachers using de-escalation strategies.
Daily responsibilities include:
Supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties
Using trauma-informed approaches
Running social skills and self-esteem interventions
Helping pupils reintegrate into class after crises
