Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in Brighton in recruiting an ASDAN Cover Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students following the ASDAN curriculum, providing cover teaching across a variety of subjects and ensuring continuity of learning.
The successful candidate will be flexible, organised, and able to deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of all students. This is a key role in supporting both students and staff while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Deliver ASDAN curriculum lessons in line with planning and schemes of work
Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policy
Support students’ personal and social development as part of the ASDAN programme
Record and monitor student progress, providing feedback where appropriate
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners
Qualified teacher (QTS) or equivalent experience in a secondary school setting
Experience delivering ASDAN programmes or similar accredited courses is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across different year groups and subjects
Committed to promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
