About the Role

We are seeking a committed Numeracy Intervention Lead to join our Learning Centre team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in developing essential numeracy skills and to work closely with staff to enhance learning outcomes. You will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions and promoting effective study strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students and staff in all aspects of Learning Centre use.
  • Deliver study skills and information retrieval sessions (one-to-one and group).
  • Provide accessibility technology support and maintain learning resources.
  • Develop and implement e-learning strategies and resources.
  • Promote the Learning Centre services to students and staff.
  • Identify and respond to curriculum needs to improve numeracy outcomes.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a learning support or library environment is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good digital literacy and familiarity with Library Management Systems (preferred).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a busy educational setting.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location).
