We are currently supporting a welcoming primary school in Brighton who are seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, initially until Easter.
This is a split role across the day, offering variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with pupils who have additional needs.
Mornings:
Working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil who is non-verbal, providing consistent, nurturing support and helping the child access learning and daily routines.
Afternoons:
Supporting small groups in Year 3, working with pupils with high SEND needs in a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
This is a highly rewarding role suited to someone who is patient, compassionate, and confident supporting children with complex needs.
Previous experience working with SEND learners (essential)
A current DBS on the Update Service (essential)
A nurturing, calm, and proactive approach
Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team
Full-time: Monday to Friday
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: Until Easter initially
Pay: £89 per day
