We are working with a fantastic SEND school in Crawley who are looking for Primary and Secondary Teaching Assistants to join their warm, dedicated team. The school supports children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, and complex behaviour, and offers superb training, guidance, and pastoral support.


🌈 The Roles

We are recruiting for both Primary and Secondary positions, working with pupils who benefit from additional support in their learning and emotional regulation.

Your day might include:

  • Supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
  • Assisting with literacy, numeracy, communication, and sensory needs
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, structured environment
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and behaviour leads
  • Celebrating small wins that make a huge difference

The school is seeking positive, patient, and resilient individuals. You don’t need to be an expert, but the right mindset is essential.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in SEN, SEMH, care, youth work, or classroom support
  • Confidence supporting challenging behaviour
  • A calm, compassionate and consistent approach
  • Great communication and a genuine passion for helping young people
  • A willingness to learn — training is provided!
