A friendly and inclusive primary school in Hastings is seeking a reliable and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis from January.
The school has a strong focus on positive relationships, clear behaviour expectations, and supporting pupils to access learning confidently. Teaching Assistants are valued as a core part of the classroom team and are given clear direction and consistent support.
This role will involve supporting learning across KS1 and KS2, working with small groups and individual pupils as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils during whole-class teaching
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning
• Providing additional support to pupils who require it
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting classroom routines and organisation
Essential requirements:
• Previous experience in a primary school setting
• Enhanced DBS
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
Pay: £89 per day, paid weekly
