Pink Tile Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a Brighton primary school to support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
This role requires resilience, empathy and confidence supporting pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement.
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs within the classroom and around school
Implementing behaviour and regulation strategies
Supporting de-escalation and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with pastoral staff, SENCO and class teachers
Providing consistent adult support to help pupils feel safe and regulated
Has experience supporting SEMH or behaviour needs
Is calm under pressure and emotionally resilient
Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Is committed to a long-term role
